Feature Overview:

What is it and why is it useful?

Insights gained from the Returns and Exchanges data can be invaluable to your business. In an effort to bring you faster and more actionable insights, we are developing a set of features under the Reporting section. Here, we present to you the first version while looking to groom this with your feedback into a more autonomous and intuitive process, so that you can generate exactly the kind of report that you have the requirement for.

What kind of questions can you answer with it?

Reporting can help you track and analyze the problems or trends across a period of time over a sizeable sample space so that you can make informed decisions regarding what works, and what requires a little bit of tweaking. This will help you answer questions related to your product catalogs, consumer behavior, and effectiveness of your return/exchange rules.

In the current version, you get a CSV or JSON file of different types of reports available. You can learn more about the report types here:

Supported Report Types

The first version of Reporting will give you the ability get a report immediately or you can schedule a recurring report and that report will be delivered to any email address you provide as the recipients.

With future releases, we plan to add more specific reports that cater to your needs. Please feel free to provide any feedback via [email protected]

Quick Start Guide

In order to schedule the recurring reports, there's a one-time set-up required. The following is a detailed guide to help you through that process. It is only expected to take a few minutes.

Reporting environment home screen:

The reporting environment contains a table of the report types that have been created by you so far. The table contains Report Name, Report Type and Frequency.

Clicking the report name will take you to the history of that report schedule. There, you will find the individual reports that you can download and analyse.

Let's look at the various actions and cues of the Reporting environment home screen.
