- Line Item: A line item is a request created by the shopper for one product (it could have multiple quantities of the same product). A line item can be either a return request or an exchange type.
- Request: A request is a collection of multiple line items a shopper has created as a package against the Order placed on Ecomm website
- Return Request: Request will all line items chosen for refund.
- Exchange request: Request with at least one line item chosen for an exchange.
Types of Fees:
Return Processing Fee:
The return processing applies once per request. You can set the fee to differ in case of return and exchange requests.
- It can be used to deduct a standard amount from every service request, irrespective of how many items are being serviced within that request.
- For example, a shopper could refund two items and exchange another two, but the deduction will be a fixed amount.
- You can configure different deduction amounts for refunds & exchanges
- If a service request contains both a refund and an exchange, then the exchange deduction amount will be deducted (i.e. if there's even one exchange in Service Request, the entire Service Request is considered to be an exchange request)
