Understanding Aggregators and Carriers

In Return Rabbit, an aggregator refers to the shipping integration service that connects your store with various shipping providers (carriers). A carrier is a shipping provider, such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL, responsible for transporting returned items from your shoppers back to your warehouse or fulfillment center.

By configuring aggregators and carriers within Return Rabbit, you ensure a seamless returns experience for your customers. This configuration enables accurate shipping label generation, tracking updates, and efficient handling of returned merchandise, ultimately saving your business time and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Steps to Configure Carriers and SLAs

Follow these steps to set up your preferred carriers and their associated Service Level Agreements (SLAs)—which define delivery speeds and service guarantees—for handling returns:

  1. From your merchant portal, navigate to:
  2. Select the aggregator you have previously configured for your store.
  3. Scroll down to view the enabled carriers linked to your aggregator. Click on each carrier name to open its settings.
  4. For each carrier, enable or disable specific SLAs based on your desired return shipping services (e.g., Standard Ground, Express, Overnight, etc.).

Tip: Regularly reviewing and updating your carrier and SLA configurations helps maintain an optimal returns experience and manage costs effectively.
